Absent / Distant healings.

I have been providing Absent (Distant) healings for several years now, ever since I was trained in Reiki-Sekh'm. The results have been quite amazing.

Absent healings work for people of all ages. I'm often asked to help young children experiencing sleeping problems, temper tantrums etc. I also find these healings work particularly well to help people injured through an accident, playing sport, for example. The beauty of such healings is that they're non intrusive and it doesn't matter where you live because they work over very long or short distances. In religious circles Absent healings are likened to the power of prayer. Modern scientists explain their power in terms of quantum physics - the knowledge that everything is energy and that we're all connected. Put simply it is the power of intention that allows the healing to take place through a practitioner like me.

Reiki-Sekh'm symbols in our products.

In my studies with Bernadette Saulenier, Melbourne's independent Reiki-Sekh'm teacher, I've been initiated and energetically empowered to the equivalent of levels I, II and III in the Usui system of Reiki healing, to the Intermediate level of the Rings of the Thymus and I've been trained to Level 2 in Sekh'm.

Bernadette is a marvellous teacher. Through her I've learned to use Reiki to even greater effect. Using the power of intention, I'm now incorporating the appropriate Reiki and Sekh'm symbols in all my products to provide additional powers of protection and healing. Many people have told me that they can feel an increased, vibrant energy in Oh! Naturale's products as a result.

I use Reiki-Sekh'm in all my Absent / Distant healings.

Reiki Sekh'm is an energy system and spiritual path which was rediscovered by Usui, a Buddhist monk in the late 1800s. Sekh'm is an Egyptian word for "sacred might, or power" and can be traced to the mystery schools of Egypt.

Thought Field Therapy

Regular readers of the Living Now and Nova magazines in Australia will be familiar with Thought Field Therapy (TFT) courses held throughout the country. TFT is an extraordinary modality which involves tapping on various meridian points on the body to remove negative emotions. It deals with issues quickly and effectively - in ways that other therapies can't begin to match.

I have had the privilege of studying TFT in Melbourne with Eugene and Karen Piccinotti over some years and more recently with Tyicia Silvyell. All are fully dedicated to the powers of TFT developed by the founder, Dr Roger Callahan, a PhD in America. As a part of my training I've experienced quite miraculous changes in my own life and can heartily recommend TFT to you.

Emotional Freedom Technique

More recently I've studied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) which has been developed in America by Gary Craig who has built on his own training in TFT. I find his generosity of spirit quite extraordinary. Gary has a fabulous website that's filled with useful information and case studies. THE definitive book about Tapping
"Tapping Your Amazing Potential with EFT"
by Betty Moore-Hafter, Certified Hypnotherapist and EFT Practitioner

I have no vested interest in promoting this 107 page manual, except to say that in all my studies of "Tapping" whether it is TFT or EFT, I have never found a more comprehensive book on this and related subjects. I purchased the e-book version online recently (it's also available by mail in a three-ring binder format) . Betty Moore-Hafter is an American expert in alternative therapies. It is perfectly suited to everyone interested in alternative modalities which reach into the deeper mind and emotions while respecting the role of the body. If you're already a practitioner you'll find it thoroughly fascinating and very informative. If you're not a practitioner but are curious to explore new healing possibilities,this is a superb way to get started in my opinion.

Power of Thought

Another unusual and brilliant modality I've learned was developed by a delightful American, Harold McCoy, founder of the Ozark Research Institute in Arizona. He paid his first visit to Australia in 2004. I find Harold's meditation and visualisation technique, called "Power of Thought" certainly powerful and very adaptable for a variety of health issues, from quite small ones to larger problems. It's now a regular part of my healing work. Harold is set to return to Australia (and also New Zealand) for 2-day workshops in November 2005.

Treating Allergies

There seems to be an ever-growing problem of allergies, particularly food allergies. In my experience mind/body work is excellent for treating such allergies. Depending on the person I might use EFT, Bush Flower Essences, Pure Sound Essences - a combination of all of these - and/or "The Food Allergy Cure", devised by Ellen Cutler, MD in America. She has developed a powerful treatment that's totally alternative - one that relies on tapping various meridien points (though in a different way to TFT/EFT) and incorporates various homoeopathic remedies via the Bioset Institute. Personally I was completely cured of an allergy to honey in just one session of Dr Cutler's cure. It was quite profound and happily overcame some serious problems that I'd encountered when honey was an unexpected ingredient in various dishes prepared by friends or restaurants. From this experience I'm now able to help others overcome similar difficulties using totally natural, alternative means.

The Dowsing Society of Victoria (DSV) - Australia

This year I've joined the committee of the DSV and I'm assisting the Society with publicity to promote its marvellous cause and its meetings. The DSV meets several times a year, on Sundays at the Mt. Waverley Community Centre - opposite the railway station in Miller Crescent (Melway 23 - Map 61 E12). The DSV was founded by the late George Williams in 1973. The Society continues to expand its membership via special speakers and interesting field trips.
